Our online store is powered by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform that enables us to offer our products.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, subject to your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and for activities carried out through your account.

You must use our website lawfully and must not interfere with its operation or security.

2. Our Products

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs and other information on our website are accurate.

Please note that colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings.

Some of our products are handmade and may feature slight variations in embroidery, stitching, colour or finishing. These characteristics are part of their individual appearance.

Such variations do not affect your statutory rights if a product does not conform to its description or the sales contract.

We reserve the right to update product descriptions, availability and our product range. Changes will not affect orders already accepted.

3. Orders

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

We reserve the right to decline an order where there is a legitimate reason, such as product unavailability or an obvious pricing error, subject to applicable law.

If we are unable to fulfil an accepted order, we will contact you and arrange a refund where appropriate.

Please check your order details carefully before completing your purchase.

If you need to make changes or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at hello@friedaandsophie.com.

Your statutory cancellation and withdrawal rights remain unaffected.

4. Prices and Payment

All product prices are displayed in the currency shown on our website.

Applicable taxes, shipping charges and other mandatory charges collected by us will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

The total amount payable to us will be shown at checkout.

Payments are processed securely through the payment methods available on our website.

We reserve the right to change prices and promotions at any time. Such changes will not affect orders already accepted.

For international orders, additional import duties, taxes or handling charges may apply, as explained in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

5. Shipping and Delivery

We ship within Norway and internationally to destinations available at checkout.

Orders are typically prepared and dispatched within 3–5 working days, excluding weekends and public holidays.

We use Posten for shipping.

Free shipping is available on orders over 799 NOK within Norway.

Shipping charges for other orders are displayed at checkout.

Delivery times vary depending on the destination, shipping service and customs processing.

We are not responsible for delays beyond our reasonable control, but this does not limit your statutory rights concerning delivery.

For consumer purchases, responsibility for the goods generally remains with us until you or a person designated by you takes physical possession of them, subject to applicable law.

6. Returns and Refunds

For eligible online purchases, consumers generally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from receiving their goods.

To exercise this right, please notify us within the applicable withdrawal period.

After notifying us, you generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Customers are responsible for the direct cost of return shipping when exercising their right of withdrawal, provided they have been informed of this before purchase.

Refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws, including any applicable refund of standard outbound delivery charges.

7. Faulty or Damaged Products

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us at hello@friedaandsophie.com.

Include your order number and a description of the issue. Photographs may help us assess the problem.

We will handle complaints and provide appropriate remedies in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

Your statutory rights relating to faulty or non-conforming goods are not limited by these Terms & Conditions.

8. Intellectual Property

The Frieda & Sophie name, logo, original photographs, text and other original website content are owned by Frieda & Sophie or their respective rights holders.

You may not reproduce, distribute or use protected content for commercial purposes without the relevant rights holder's permission, except where permitted by law.

We are not responsible for the content or practices of independent third-party websites.

Nothing in this section limits our responsibilities as the seller of products purchased from our store.

Frieda & Sophie is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide our online store and related services.

However, purchases made through our store are transactions directly between you and Frieda & Sophie.

Shopify is not the seller of our products and is not responsible for fulfilling orders, handling product returns or providing remedies for faulty products.

Nothing in these terms affects any rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
